Former world champion Jason Moloney is set to headline the ‘Urban Warfare’ boxing event in Brisbane this Thursday night, with the fight being broadcast live on Stan Sport. Moloney, hailing from Australia, is on a mission to re-establish himself at the top of the bantamweight division as he faces American contender Andre Donovan for the IBF intercontinental bantamweight title.
In an exciting co-main event, super welterweight Ben Mahoney will take on fellow South East Queenslander Dan Hill in what promises to be a thrilling local bout at 154 pounds. Boxing fans can catch the action starting at 6pm AEST, exclusively on Stan Sport.
Among the rising stars to watch is 21-year-old Max McIntyre, a former IBF world youth champion. With an impressive record of 9-0, including eight knockouts, McIntyre is eager to continue his winning streak. He will face Tej Pratap Singh, a 39-year-old fighter from India now residing in Melbourne, for the WBC Australasian title in the super middleweight category.
McIntyre expressed confidence at the weigh-in, stating, “The takeover is in full swing. He’s had his time, but it’s my time now, baby. It’s the Money Show. It’ll be a bull and matador performance. I’m going to walk in on the shots. If he wants to come forward, he can try, but it’s not a good idea.” He’s aiming for another impressive finish to add to his highlight reel.
Catch all the bouts live on Stan Sport and witness an evening full of competitive boxing as these fighters take the ring.
