Bankstown Police have reported that a 25-year-old man is accused of assaulting two young children, aged three and four, while they were under his supervision at a childcare facility in Panania around 1pm on Thursday.
The allegations led to his arrest this morning at a residence in Belmore at 7.45am. Following his apprehension, the suspect was transported to Bankstown Police Station, where he faces two charges of common assault.
He is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
