On the evening of the previous day, a 62-year-old woman contacted the police, stating that she was lost. At the time of her call, around 9:30 PM, she was last seen dressed in shorts, a T-shirt, and a bright blue rain jacket, accompanied by her two terrier dogs.
Authorities initiated a search operation to locate her in a challenging and rugged area situated 12 kilometres west of the small community of Drake Village, located approximately 800 kilometres from Sydney.
Fortunately, the search concluded successfully when the woman was found safe and unharmed at approximately 4:30 PM today.
