The Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, has confirmed that extra diesel fuel is being imported from Asian suppliers to bolster the country’s fuel supply. He announced that BP and Viva have each arranged for two additional cargoes, totalling more than 200 million litres combined. These purchases were made possible through the assistance of Export Finance Australia. The anticipated delivery of this additional diesel is expected to occur in either the final week of May or the initial week of June.
