In a sudden and violent act, at least two members of this group brandished machetes and launched an attack on an 18-year-old male from Malvern East. Fortunately, he was swiftly transported to the hospital, where he was treated for injuries that, while serious, were not life-threatening. Another victim, a 16-year-old boy, also faced an attack during this episode but fortunately emerged uninjured.
