Adelaide Crows captain Jordan Dawson is facing a distressing situation as his brother, Jaryd Dawson, has gone missing. Family members have turned to social media in search of assistance, prompting Jordan to forgo training on Wednesday.

On Wednesday morning, Jaryd’s wife, Jessica, took to Instagram to ask for anyone who might have seen or spoken to Jaryd since around 2:30 PM the previous day to reach out. She expressed concern and urgency in her message.

Jaryd is known to reside in the secluded coastal town of Robe, South Australia, situated approximately three and a half hours south of Adelaide. The couple was married in October 2022 and welcomed their first son in September.

Reports by News Corp indicate that both Jaryd’s wallet and phone have been discovered, raising further worry about his well-being. Amid these concerns, Adelaide Crows coach Mathew Nicks confirmed that Jordan missed training due to personal matters related to his brother’s situation.

Having grown up in Robe, the Dawson brothers shared a passion for football, playing together at school. Jaryd also had a successful stint in the sport, notably earning two best-and-fairest awards while playing for the Robe Roosters.

As the family continues to seek help and information, the community and fans of the Crows are rallying around the Dawsons during this challenging time.
