A mother of three, Denise Gray, is sounding an alarm after experiencing a disturbing incident outside a shopping centre in Kirrawee, Sydney. Following a family outing at a nearby playground, Denise and her children returned to their car only to hear a loud sound against the vehicle. She was then approached by two individuals who informed her that they had witnessed something being thrown from an apartment block overhead, which she later realised was human waste.
Describing her shock, Denise recounted how it took her a moment to process the event, and she expressed relief that neither she nor her children were directly affected. She admitted that had the incident impacted them, her reaction would have been far more intense. Another local resident shared her own unnerving experience, having faced a similar attack from above while picking up dinner. Initially unaware of the incident, she felt overwhelmed with confusion and dismay upon realising what had happened. Her husband, concerned for her safety as she is pregnant, offered to clean the mess.
The woman urged the perpetrator to seek help, stating, “If this was an intentional act and you don’t require support, this ruined my day and the day of others who have been impacted.” This reflects an alarming trend in the area, as other residents have reported similar occurrences involving items like eggs and rotten vegetables being hurled at vehicles.
Local police encouraged anyone with relevant information to reach out to them or Crime Stoppers, noting that no official reports had been made yet despite confirmation from centre management that such incidents have happened before. The community is anxious and seeking answers, and they await a response from South Village Apartments regarding the disturbing behaviour occurring in the vicinity.
