Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii’s comeback from injury continues to be delayed as the $5 million rugby league star was not included in the NSW Waratahs’ match-day roster for their upcoming round-six encounter against the ACT Brumbies this Saturday.
At just 21 years old, Suaalii has played a limited role with the Waratahs, featuring in only one Super Rugby match where he started at fullback during the team’s narrow 37-36 victory over the Highlanders in round one. Unfortunately, he sustained a toe injury during that match, putting him out of action since then.
Recently, however, Suaalii has rejoined the main training squad, creating hope for his return to the field. The Waratahs are anticipated to continue monitoring his recovery closely, and fans will be eager to see him back in action as soon as he is fully fit.
