Authorities are currently managing the aftermath of a light aircraft crash in Western Australia’s Mid-West region. The wreckage of the plane was found by bystanders around 11:15 am AWST (2:15 pm AEDT) near Ogilvie Road West in Ogilvie, which is situated approximately 47 kilometres north of Northampton.

As it stands, police have reported that the pilot was the only person on board at the time of the incident. However, details regarding the extent of any injuries sustained remain unclear. Emergency services are actively on-site, working to gather more information about the situation.
