A shocking incident of an armed break-in at a motel in Bourke, western NSW has been reported, with a disturbing video surfacing on social media. The footage, which was shared by 2GB radio, shows masked individuals wielding knives during the early morning hours of February 22.
According to police reports, the group forced their way into staff accommodation around 4:40 AM, threatening a 24-year-old man. The assailants allegedly moved on to a second motel room where a 52-year-old man sustained a minor neck injury.
In addition to threatening the victims, the group reportedly stole cash, bank cards, and mobile phones before fleeing the scene in a white Holden sedan, which police later discovered abandoned on a street in Orange. Authorities believe this incident may be related to another break-in at a local caravan park that occurred on the same day.
A crime scene has been established, and investigations into both incidents are still ongoing as authorities work to apprehend those responsible.
