However, they have yet to receive a response from the competing promoters. Goldstar’s Spencer Brown expressed hope for a resolution, branding the situation as “very silly and very petty.”
As it stands, no resolution to the conflict has been reached. Huni, with a record of 13 wins and 1 loss, is considered one of Australia’s premier boxers, having transitioned successfully from amateur to professional status six years ago. His career faced a setback when he missed the Tokyo Olympics due to a broken hand, a condition worsened during a 2021 victory over former NRL star Paul Gallen.
