Police are searching for three masked individuals following an unusual home invasion in Port Noarlunga South, located south of Adelaide. At approximately 8.30am on Saturday, the suspects, dressed in black with concealed faces, approached a residence. While one individual remained outside, the other two entered the home armed with capsicum spray and what appeared to be a small bat.
Inside, they allegedly threatened four occupants and assaulted three, including a pregnant woman, resulting in minor injuries. The assailants made off with two wallets and a PlayStation 5.
A nearby resident, alerted by the ruckus, activated her CCTV camera just in time to capture the suspects’ escape. In an unexpected twist, all three suspects fled on a single scooter, further complicating their getaway. During the escape, one suspect nearly fell off due to the scooter’s swift departure.
Authorities have described the scooter used as a black and silver model, resembling a Yamaha NMAX 155. They are urging anyone with information regarding the men or the scooter, as well as any relevant dashcam or CCTV footage, to reach out to Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 or visit their website.
