Police responded to an incident at the Silva and Goldy jewellery store, situated in an arcade off Pitt Street, around 4:40 PM today. Authorities received reports indicating that a man had threatened the staff and compelled them to open a safe. Following this, he made off with jewellery valued in the thousands.
Inside the store, surveillance footage captured an image of the suspect, who was dressed in a white coat, black gloves, and a helmet. A crime scene has been established to aid the investigation.
Local police are urging anyone with additional information to step forward and assist in resolving this case.
