At approximately 4:15 am, officers observed a Toyota Corolla, believed to be stolen, driving erratically on Wood Street in Preston. The vehicle made its way to Broadmeadows, where it collided with an unmarked police car near Widford Street before fleeing the scene. Shortly thereafter, it was involved in a second crash with another vehicle at the intersection of Widford Street and Camp Road, resulting in the Corolla flipping onto its side. Authorities reported that a man in his 50s has been taken into custody and is currently being questioned regarding the incident. Fortunately, there were no injuries recorded during these events.
