Border town rattled by 3.7 magnitude quake

A small earthquake rattled a city located on the New South Wales and Victoria border this afternoon. The tremor, measuring 3.7 in magnitude, was centred between Albury and Mullengandra, New South Wales. According to Geoscience Australia, the quake occurred at a depth of 5 kilometres at approximately 1:30 PM.

Residents on both sides of the border reported feeling the tremor, with at least a dozen individuals noting its impact in both states. Albury, the larger of the two cities, has a population of about 58,317 people.
