Woolworths is recalling packets of Grinny Pea Puffs Chicken Flavour, sold in 18g bags as part of a six-pack, due to concerns that they may contain glass shards. This recall, initiated on behalf of Termnature Industry Co Ltd, affects products with a use-by date of August 23, 2025. The snack has been available for purchase throughout Woolworths and Metro stores across Australia, as well as online.

The supermarket has stated that around 8,000 units of the product are impacted by this precautionary measure, which is a response to potential contamination by foreign objects. Woolworths is advising customers to verify the use-by date and batch number of their Grinny Pea Puffs and to return any affected items for a full refund.

Customers are urged not to consume the recalled product and to visit their nearest Woolworths or Metro store for a refund. Importantly, no other products or batches are implicated in this recall. Woolworths has expressed its commitment to product safety and offered apologies for any disruption this may cause.

For additional details, customers can contact Woolworths via their toll-free hotline at 1800 000 610 or through their website and app.
