A woman’s body has been discovered wrapped in plastic and rope at a well-known creek on the Gold Coast. Emergency services received a call to Currumbin Creek, near Whitsunday Drive, around 2.50pm today, where they located the body, which is thought to have been submerged for several days.
Authorities are currently investigating the scene, with police divers and detectives present. They are also engaging with local residents to gather more information regarding this tragic incident. The circumstances surrounding the woman’s death remain unclear, and inquiries are continuing.
