A 36-year-old woman was involved in a serious crash after driving for a kilometre on the wrong side of Citylink. The incident occurred near the Church Street Bridge at 2:10 am, where she collided head-on with a truck. Emergency services, including police and paramedics, swiftly responded to the scene, and the woman was subsequently transported to hospital in critical condition. Fortunately, the truck driver escaped without any injuries, as reported by Victoria Police. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident, and they are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
