A woman has been arrested concerning the dubious death of a father in Sydney’s north-west last month. The deceased, identified as 39-year-old John Birch, was discovered under a tarp in a paddock off Gleness Place, Glenorie, on March 14.
Today, a 35-year-old woman was detained at a residence on Gleness Place. Following her arrest, she was taken to Castle Hill Police Station, where she was charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder, as well as larceny. Bail has been denied, and she is set to appear at Parramatta Local Court on May 29.
In addition, a 24-year-old man named James French has also been charged in relation to Birch’s death and is currently facing legal proceedings. Authorities have indicated that Birch and French were likely acquainted with each other. The investigation continues as police explore the circumstances surrounding the case.
