In the early hours of yesterday, around 1.30am, law enforcement responded to a call at Fun Time Pony nightclub on Alinga Street. Patrons were seen exiting the venue, exhibiting symptoms such as breathing difficulties, irritated eyes, and skin issues. In response, police initiated an evacuation of the premises while firefighters conducted a hazardous materials assessment.

During the operation, a 20-year-old woman was apprehended. Authorities reportedly discovered a can of oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray within her black handbag. It is believed that this spray was used within the nightclub, leading to the adverse reactions among those present. The woman now faces charges related to weapon possession and causing public harm.
