Woman battles for survival after being struck by her own vehicle in hospital carjacking incident.

A 66-year-old woman was in the car park of Casey Hospital in Berwick around 10:45 am, assisting her husband when a man who had recently exited the hospital reportedly jumped into her car’s driver seat. In her attempt to prevent him from driving away, the woman was unfortunately struck by the vehicle as it began to move. She has since been taken to The Alfred Hospital, where she is currently in a critical condition. Meanwhile, the suspect and the stolen 2012 brown Ford Territory, bearing the registration number DEX 581, remain at large.
