A woman, aged 34, along with two girls, aged 11 and 13, were arrested today at a school in Armidale, New South Wales, following an incident involving alleged assaults on school staff and police officers. Reports indicate that the younger girls attempted to attack another student, resulting in staff intervening. Fortunately, no students were harmed, though four staff members sustained minor injuries, with two requiring treatment at Armidale Hospital.

As the situation escalated, the 13-year-old girl reportedly assaulted a police officer during the arrest of both girls. The woman arrived at the school amid the chaos and allegedly verbally abused both staff and officers present. After being instructed by police to leave, she refused and was consequently arrested. During her arrest, she is said to have resisted law enforcement officers, leading to her being taken to the Armidale Police Station.

The woman faces multiple charges, including refusing to comply with a police direction, hindering or resisting an officer in the execution of their duty, and intimidating an officer during their duty. She has been denied bail and is set to appear in Inverell Local Court later today. Meanwhile, the two girls have been released while investigations continue.
