Police were summoned to a venue in Bankstown around 11pm last night following reports of a disturbance. Upon their arrival, officers learned that a number of individuals had been involved in a physical altercation.
Emergency services treated a 45-year-old woman at the scene for various injuries. She was subsequently transported to Bankstown Hospital and is currently in stable condition.
Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the brawl.
