Marvel Stadium has announced its food pricing ahead of the upcoming AFL season, and fans can look forward to enjoying a hot meat pie and chips for under $10, making it the most affordable venue in Australia for a Four ‘N Twenty pie. Notably, hot chips will be available for $4.90, and hot dogs will maintain their price at $6.00. Additionally, the cost of Hot Jam Donuts has been reduced from $6.50 to $5.00.

Scott Fitzgerald, General Manager of Marvel Stadium, emphasised the importance of keeping food prices accessible for fans, despite rising business costs. He noted, “We wanted to ensure that these costs were not transferred to footy fans regarding their favourite menu items.” In a surprising twist, Fitzgerald pointed out that purchasing a hot pie at Marvel Stadium is cheaper than buying one from a local service station.

As for ticket prices, general admission will remain steady at $27 for adults at both Marvel Stadium and the MCG for the seventh consecutive season. Concession prices will stay at $18, while juniors aged 14 and under can attend for just $5.

While fans are seeing favourable food prices, the MCG has yet to announce its food costs. The public can begin purchasing tickets on February 19 at midday, with AFL and club members having early access to tickets a day prior, starting at noon on February 18. Overall, Marvel Stadium’s pricing initiatives aim to enhance the game-day experience without putting financial pressure on supporters.
