Estella Garcia Cantu, the daughter of Palacios Garcia, carries on the legacy of this extraordinary tree, which will celebrate its 23rd anniversary on June 4th. Despite its remote location, the tree attracts numerous visitors, all seeking miraculous healings. Garcia Cantu, who has been closely involved since her mother planted the tree, has witnessed countless transformations throughout the years.
The genesis of the tree dates back to when Palacios Garcia, a devoted Christian, sought a miracle for her community. It all began with a visit to a nursery in Edinburg, where she obtained an olive branch from Jerusalem. Planted in her yard with fervent prayers, the tree soon thrived, maturing rapidly to a height of 1.8 metres within just six months.
Visitors have reported extraordinary healing experiences. One such story is that of Michelle Salinas, who suffered from debilitating migraines for 13 years. After two visits to the tree, her migraines vanished, leaving her rejuvenated and free from pain. Similar accounts abound, with many attributing their healing to the power of prayer and faith.
