Police responded just before midday after receiving reports that a vintage aircraft had overturned upon landing at Tyabb Airport. The pilot, who was the only person on board, successfully exited the aircraft without assistance. He was subsequently transported to Frankston Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. An Ambulance Victoria representative indicated that the man, in his 70s, is currently in a stable condition, experiencing soreness in his upper body. Tyabb Airport is situated approximately 70 kilometres from Melbourne.
