Almost four years after Brisbane was awarded the 2032 Olympic Games, Premier David Crisafulli is poised to unveil his government’s infrastructure plan for the event today. This plan aims to clarify the vision for the Games, including the construction of a new stadium at Brisbane’s Victoria Park.
Crisafulli is also expected to announce that additional Olympic events will take place in regional Queensland. This decision comes in response to criticism regarding the initial plans for a new stadium in the south-east. However, some sports organisations have already expressed dissatisfaction with the proposed locations shared by 9News recently.
