Two Men Detained Following Hit-and-Run That Left Teen in Critical Condition

Two men have been apprehended in north-west Melbourne following a hit-and-run incident that has left a teenager in critical condition.

According to police reports, the incident occurred around 11:30 PM last night when a Honda sedan swerved across multiple lanes and collided with a Great Wall SUV on the Western Ring Road, between Ballarat and Furlong roads in St Albans.

A 17-year-old boy, who was a rear passenger in the Honda, was rushed to the hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the driver and front passenger of the Honda fled the scene on foot. Fortunately, the occupants of the SUV emerged from the crash without any significant injuries.

Authorities are continuing their investigations into the incident.
