Emergency services responded to a serious incident on the Princes Highway at Kiah, located 15 kilometres south of Eden, at approximately 1:45 PM today. The collision involved two vehicles, tragically resulting in the death of two individuals from one of the cars.
In addition to the fatalities, another two occupants from the other vehicle sustained significant injuries. A man in his 60s was reported to have suffered chest injuries, while a woman in her 70s was airlifted to Canberra Hospital. She reportedly sustained injuries to her chest, abdomen, and pelvis.
This event marks the second fatal accident in the Eden region within the week, raising concerns about road safety in the area.
