Two Injured in Stabbing Incident Outside Sydney Shopping Centre

Two individuals sustained injuries in a stabbing incident at a bus stop near a shopping centre in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. Emergency services rushed to the scene on Bunnerong Road in Maroubra around 11:40 am after receiving reports of the attack.

The incident reportedly occurred outside the Westfield shopping centre in the area. Paramedics are currently attending to a man and a woman who have sustained minor injuries from the assault.

At the scene, a 41-year-old woman was apprehended and has since been taken to Maroubra Police Station for questioning. Authorities have indicated that the individuals involved in the incident do not know one another, and they have assured the public that there is no ongoing threat to community safety.
