Authorities are investigating the discovery of two deceased individuals at a granny flat located in Forestville, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Police responded to a welfare check at a residence on Cannons Parade shortly before 9.30 pm last night after concerns were expressed regarding the well-being of the occupants.
Upon arrival and subsequent search, officers found the bodies within the granny flat situated at the property’s rear. As of now, the identities of the deceased have not been officially confirmed.
In response to the incident, police have cordoned off the area and launched an investigation. This morning, a team of law enforcement officials, including forensic specialists, remained at the scene to carry out further inquiries. Among their activities was the examination of a white utility vehicle, which they have since confiscated for investigation purposes.
