In the early hours of the morning, a trio armed with machetes allegedly forced their way into a residence in Black Rock, Melbourne, and made off with two sets of car keys and a wallet. The incident, which occurred around 5am, was captured on CCTV, showing the intruders entering the home via the garage.
Authorities believe the suspects arrived at the property in a vehicle that had been stolen from Chadstone the previous day. Remarkably, the residents were unaware of the break-in until after the assailants had fled.
Police are currently investigating the incident.
