Authorities in South Australia are on the hunt for three individuals who may have sustained serious burns after allegedly igniting their own vehicle in Solomontown. Security camera footage captured two suspects dressed in black hoodies and trousers exiting a car on Young Street just after midnight on Monday. The pair were seen pouring an accelerant at the front of a nearby residence before re-entering the vehicle, which subsequently sped away and erupted into flames.
As the car engulfed in fire continued its descent down the street, three people were observed fleeing from it. Fortunately, the residents of the targeted home were unharmed; however, police believe that the three suspects are likely to require medical attention due to their injuries.
The flames caused damage to the exterior of the home, prompting an investigation. Authorities are eager to identify the suspects involved and have appealed to the public for any information that might aid in their search.
