A tragic incident occurred at Morialta National Park in Adelaide, where a man lost his life after plummeting down a steep gorge. The fall took place just before 12.30 pm, while the man was hiking with a woman near the Deep View Lookout.
Following the accident, witnesses reported that the woman sought assistance from passersby, visibly distressed by the event. One witness, Aliman Tazudin, noted that the pair had only recently met in class and this was their first outing together. According to her account, the man had attempted to leap over a safety barrier to retrieve a plastic bottle littered over the edge when he fell.
The woman explained that her companion was committed to maintaining a clean environment, which motivated his actions. Tragically, this decision resulted in the fatal incident.
