An eight-year-old cavoodle named Flossie, stolen from her home in Fullarton, South Australia, has been safely returned. The furry rescue occurred early today at Sefton Plaza, where Flossie was spotted and approached by two passersby. One of them posted an anonymous message on a local Facebook group to locate the dog’s owner, which ultimately led to Flossie’s reunion with her owner, Ann-Louise Hordacre.
In disbelief over her dog’s safe return, Hordacre expressed her desire for Flossie to share her adventures during the six days she was missing. Initially fearing the worst, she was overwhelmed with emotion upon receiving the news of Flossie’s discovery, exclaiming, “I howled… I was in shock.” Flossie was quickly back at home with her sister, Cali, enjoying life as usual.
According to a vet, Flossie was well cared for during her time away and returned in good health, much to Hordacre’s relief. Flossie was the sole victim in a recent break-in at Hordacre’s home. Meanwhile, police are actively searching for the individual responsible for the theft and urge anyone with relevant information to come forward.
