Toddler Hospitalised Following Incident with Toppling Bookcase

A toddler was swiftly taken to the hospital after a bookcase collapsed on her at a childcare centre in Sydney. The incident occurred at Mounties Care in Schofields, located in the city’s north-western region. The child received immediate care from the CareFlight Helicopter team, who addressed her injuries on-site. She suffered bruises and was treated by a CareFlight doctor along with NSW Ambulance paramedics. Following the initial treatment, the toddler was transported to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, where she is reported to be in stable condition, according to CareFlight.
