Three individuals have been charged in Argentina in connection with the tragic death of Liam Payne, a former One Direction member, as reported by the public prosecutor’s office. One person who was with him faces charges for abandoning a person in distress and providing drugs. A hotel employee and another unidentified individual have also been implicated.

Payne, aged 31, passed away on October 16 after a fall from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. Toxicology reports indicated the presence of alcohol, cocaine, and antidepressants in his system prior to his death, suggesting he may have been incapacitated. Medical examinations confirmed that his injuries were consistent with a fall from a height.

Initial investigations revealed no signs of self-inflicted harm or external intervention, leading to the theory that he may have been alone and was experiencing a “breakdown” linked to substance use. His body remained in Argentina for further toxicology testing before being released to his family. Liam Payne achieved fame as part of One Direction, which was formed in 2010 during the British show The X Factor.
