Reflecting on the incident from his university days, Katter recounted an amusing memory of a friend who inspired the plan. He described how Gary Williams barged into his home at 2am, urging him to join in on the mischievous act: “Get your gear on, we’re going to egg the Beatles,” he recalled while speaking on the Today show last year.
