Thieves have stolen over a dozen vehicles, valued at potentially millions of dollars, from a car transport facility in Springwood, located south of Brisbane. The heist occurred early Saturday morning, between midnight and 9am, with the offenders making off with 15 vehicles.

Sam Hussain, the owner of the business, described the scene, stating that the safe had been broken into, and the office was ransacked. It appears that nearly a hundred keys were also taken during the incident. Hussain shared with 9News that the business handles a variety of vehicles for interstate transport, ranging from economical cars like Corollas to luxury models including Porches and Aston Martins.

As they assess the situation, Hussain noted that they are currently counting the keys to determine the full extent of the stolen vehicles. Despite having rented the premises for its secure fencing, the perpetrators managed to breach the property by jumping the fences and smashing the gates during their escape.

Compounding the difficulties for law enforcement, a power outage on the night of the theft resulted in the CCTV system being offline, which has left police with few leads to pursue. Authorities are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area to assist with their investigation.
