Australia has secured the 10th position in the 2024 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), achieving a score of 77 out of 100. This index evaluates 180 countries and territories based on their perceived levels of public sector corruption, with scores ranging from 0 for highly corrupt to 100 for very clean. The CPI is compiled by Transparency International, a global coalition dedicated to fighting corruption, which operates in more than 100 countries. Leading the rankings, characterised by low corruption levels, are Denmark, Finland, Singapore, New Zealand, Luxembourg, Norway, Switzerland, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Australia.
