Sydney is set to welcome a unique new venue—a water bar that exclusively serves water. Titled H2O: Water Bar, this innovative pop-up is part of the Art & About Sydney festival and will be located in the inner chamber of Paddington Reservoir Gardens. Designed to resemble a vintage apothecary with beakers and test tubes, the installation aims to highlight the significance and fragility of water as a natural resource.
Visitors will have the opportunity to taste a diverse selection of waters sourced from various regions across Australia. To enhance the experience, the pop-up will also feature a range of discussions and entertainment, ensuring there’s more to enjoy than just sampling water.
The concept is masterminded by Janet Laurence, who represented Australia at the 2015 Paris Climate Change Conference.
