After an extensive search across the country, all ten individuals who contributed to a time capsule in 1985 have been located. These former schoolchildren participated in a competition organised by Telstra, previously known as Telecom, which marked its 10th anniversary by inviting them to bury items in a time capsule in Adelaide, South Australia.

In April, Telstra initiated a public appeal to reunite with the now-adult participants, nearly four decades after the event. Recently, the company announced that all ten names have been confirmed and located.

Telstra’s Regional General Manager for South Australia, Michael Patterson, expressed gratitude for the public interest in this reunion. He shared his enthusiasm about reuniting with the participants—Amanda, Corrie, David, Kirsty, Jessica, Michael, Rachel, Vicki, Michelle, and another Michelle—during the opening of the time capsule scheduled for 1 July.

Further details regarding the ceremony for unveiling the time capsule will be provided shortly. It is noteworthy that all participants were just 10 years old when they placed their items in the capsule, and they are now nearing their milestone 50th birthdays.
