Two teenagers sustained injuries following a car accident in Sydney’s southern suburbs late last night. Police were called to Clarence Street in Rockdale around 9.50 pm after receiving reports of a vehicle found extensively damaged.

Upon arrival, officers encountered three 19-year-old males at the scene. It is alleged that the car had been involved in a collision just five minutes earlier on Railway Parade in Kogarah, where it struck several parked cars. The vehicle reportedly fled the scene without stopping.

Emergency services treated two of the young men, with one being transported to St George Hospital in critical condition, while the second man remains in serious but stable condition. The third individual, who is believed to have been driving, was also taken to the same hospital for mandatory testing.

An investigation into the incident is currently underway, and authorities are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage from the area during that time to come forward and assist with their inquiries.
