Three teenage boys, including one aged just 13, have been charged following a carjacking incident in Toukley on the New South Wales Central Coast. The incident occurred around 1pm yesterday when a 42-year-old woman reportedly stopped her vehicle on Heador Street. According to police, the trio confronted her, brandishing a knife and demanding she exit her Porsche SUV.
Thankfully, the woman was not physically harmed during the ordeal. The teenagers then allegedly drove off in the stolen SUV, which subsequently collided with a Holden utility on Main Street shortly after the theft. Following the crash, the boys fled the scene, but police managed to apprehend them later that afternoon at a residence in Toukley.
The suspects, aged 13, 14, and 15, face serious charges, including aggravated assault with the intent to take or drive a motor vehicle while armed. The youngest boy has also been charged with driving unlicensed. All three youths have been denied bail and are set to appear in a children’s court today.
