Two teenagers have been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of 21-year-old Luke Manassa last week. The incident reportedly occurred on June 26 at approximately 10:45 PM in the driveway of a residence on Driftway Drive, Pemulwuy, shortly after Manassa arrived with his girlfriend.

During the attack, Manassa sustained critical stab wounds. Despite getting into his car and attempting to drive away, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Emergency services were called, but attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.

Following the incident, detectives executed search warrants at various locations in South Penrith, Mt Druitt, and Woodcroft. Police discovered a vehicle tied to the getaway at a property in Woodcroft. A 17-year-old male was apprehended at a residence in South Penrith and subsequently charged with murder at Penrith Police Station. He has been denied bail and is set to appear in a children’s court today.

Additionally, a 16-year-old male was arrested at a home in Mt Druitt on similar charges and will also face court today after being refused bail.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding Manassa’s death are ongoing as authorities continue to gather evidence related to the case.
