Emergency services responded around 8:20 am following reports of a pedestrian being struck by a Pajero on Berrima Street. Tragically, a 14-year-old boy from Wynnum was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, a 17-year-old male, along with his two passengers—a 41-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy—sustained no injuries. Authorities are currently conducting an investigation and are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or possesses dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward to assist with their inquiries.
