A tragic incident has marred a weekend getaway for a group of friends, resulting in the death of an 18-year-old following a ute rollover. The unfortunate event occurred near Bendigo, Victoria, on a farm where the vehicle was being driven when it overturned around 5:30 PM.
In the aftermath of the accident, friends of the deceased gathered in Eltham, located in Melbourne’s north-east. The ute had four occupants, all of whom were schoolmates and members of the Eltham Football Club. While the driver, also 18 years old, lost control of the vehicle, he and the other two passengers escaped without injuries. Tragically, the young passenger was declared dead at the scene.
