A kebab truck launched by Sydney influencer Anthony Lees, known as Spanian, has suffered damage from a suspected arson attack. Early this morning, investigators reported that a flammable liquid was likely used to ignite the Spanian’s Kebabs truck on Bell Street in Preston. Fortunately, the fire was quickly contained, and no injuries were reported.

The truck opened to enthusiastic crowds earlier this month, marking a new venture for Spanian, who has over a million followers online thanks to his travel vlogs and the YouTube series Into the Hood. In response to the incident, Spanian took to Instagram, confirming that although the front wall of the truck was burned, plans are already in motion for a replacement truck to be dispatched from Sydney.

He emphasised the significance of the trucks to the community, noting that their owners are local residents who invest their savings into these businesses. Spanian expressed his commitment to rebuilding, assuring fans that the damaged truck would be repaired and that he expects operations to resume promptly, potentially by tonight.

Spanian’s Kebabs currently operates three other trucks across New South Wales, contributing to the growing presence of his brand in the region.
