Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii, a rising star in rugby, is making his mark not just on the field but also in the music scene. His debut single, which has been reviewed positively by tough critics like Nic White, is part of the newly formed rap group, Dreamyourz, alongside fellow former Sydney Roosters teammates Joseph Manu, Spencer Leniu, Sitili Tupouniua, and Siua Wong. The group has recently launched their first album titled OFF-SZN, featuring the lively track We Rock The Party, which Suaalii describes as an enjoyable venture that strengthens their bond away from rugby.

Despite his initial success in rugby, including being named man of the match during his Test debut against England, Suaalii is currently facing challenges due to a toe injury that will keep him from participating in the upcoming Super Rugby Pacific match against the ACT Brumbies. He remains optimistic about returning to play against the Hurricanes later in March, expressing how the downtime has provided him with unique insights by observing the game from a coach’s perspective. Suaalii believes this experience will enhance his understanding and performance.

Suaalii’s experiences extend beyond the rugby pitch. He recently had the opportunity to learn from All Blacks legend Dan Carter during a visit to the Australian F1 Grand Prix. He expressed excitement about picking Carter’s brain regarding training methodologies and preparation strategies, reaffirming his commitment to improving his craft.

As the Waratahs prepare for their next game against the Brumbies, they are determined to bounce back from their first loss of the season. The anticipation is palpable, especially as the Brumbies have highlighted their historical dominance by claiming victory over the Waratahs in their last thirteen encounters.

With the Waratahs lineup poised for action and Suaalii’s excitement for his return growing, the team is eager to turn the page and reclaim their winning momentum. The upcoming match, scheduled for Saturday, 22 March at Allianz Stadium, promises to be significant for both players and fans alike.
