The troubled casino operator was expected to publish its half-yearly report by 10am AEDT on Friday but missed the deadline, prompting the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) to temporarily suspend trading of its shares. Following the halt, Star Entertainment announced it anticipated receiving at least one liquidity proposal that same day.
In its update to the market, Star indicated that the finalisation of its half-yearly report depends critically on these liquidity proposals being adequate enough for the board to consider as part of the company’s future operations.
